What am I going to do today?
I had no plans for today, but there’s lots of possibilities. Adriana will be spending the afternoon with her Aunt.
The day was lovely. Here is Adriana's house.
I went up to Todmorden Mills, a site of an old sawmill, brewery, and paper making factory, now an art gallery. It's down a dip next to the Don river and Don Valley Parkway.
Lots of nice plants whos names I don't know. I will call these the ones with the reddish leaves.
There was a brewery building and a few old houses. The houses weren't open.
There was a lovely wildflower preserve walk. But no wildflowers.
I found it odd that I had the whole place to myself.
Note the mallard duck. That's what ducks are supposed to look like. Sparkly dark green heads ftw.
I wandered through the art gallery, but it didn't hold a candle to the outside.
Afterwards Inwalked back from thr station to Adriana’s, stopping for a Jamaican beef patty and roti (delicious),
and to take pictures of the skyline.
Oh, Canada...
