Wedding
The morning dawned bright and clear.
We had breakfast together in the hotel, then Kirstie had a job to do. Brett and I went into town and I got a haircut.
Trenton is a nice country town.
Cheri and Em hung out at the hotel while Brett and I toured the Canadian Air Force museum.
Brett really enjoys military stuff. Pablo too, apparently, though he favours the Napoleonic wars. I liked the Spitfire. As a child I saw one flying at an airshow in England.
I wrote a card to include. Mum would have done a better job.
Here's me all dressed up. I think I look a bit like a dwarf. Big head on little body.
We got picked up in a yellow school bus. There's Paul and Paul Jr as well.
The photo board.
The entrance of the brides maids. There were bridesmen too.
And the brides.
Jordan loves being a princess.
Darryl was there with his partner (also named Cheri)
Nicky is fabulous.
There was a flurry of wedding photos under a beautiful tree. Very efficient.
Addie did a lot of work for the wedding. She's very organised. Her partner's name is Ben.
There will be proper photos later. I took some of the photos being taken.
The wedding followed traditional formulae. Speeches, dinner, dancing starting with father/daughter.
Jordan and Nicky did heartwarming speeches. Nicky had to finish Jordan's. Tears all around. Darryl kept tearing up.
Dancing was fun.
Overall, a wonderful celebration and fun night.
